Four Tips for Complete Beginners

Over the first six weeks I spent taking pictures with a digital camera I learned four—in my opinion quite fundamental—things. They ranged from what and where to spend on my first camera, to where to seek inspiration for a photograph. If I had known them a couple of months earlier, they would have saved me a lot of time and energy, and so I wrote this article to save you the same. And now for a breather from the heavy atmosphere of Chernobyl – a trade fair in Moscow! Consumer Electronics & Photo Expo 2012 in Moscow is the largest fair of its kind in Russia, the CIS (the post-Soviet countries), and Eastern Europe overall. This year’s fair took place on April 12th to 15th. One of its subevents is Photoforum, which I participated in this April as a representative of Zoner Software.
